|What I’m Eating This Week…|Shay’s Chicken Chili Tacos but instead of tortillas, I am putting the chicken mixture on top of tortilla chips (and used Guacamole Salsa instead of guacamole). DELICIOUS!!
|What I’m Reminiscing About…| Bar Harbor, ME…again. It is summer in MS which means it is humid and hot. I miss the absolutely glorious 70-degree July weather in ME!
|What I’m Loving…| my bermuda short PJs. They are Karen Neuberger and I got them at Sam’s Club. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of them but if some of you happen to have stumbled upon them and bought some, you know what I mean!😉

|What I’m Watching/Reading…|(just finished) watching: Family Reunion. It is a Netflix original show about a black family (a former pro-football player, his wife, and their 4 children) that come home to Georgia for a family reunion and decide that this is where they want to live and raise their children. They have to move in with his mother and father for a while until they can find their own place. His mother is an old school, go-to-church-every-Sunday, southern-food-cooking lady who actually reminds me of Madea in a way, but is less “loud” but still, just as wise. His father is a preacher. Moz (former football player) and his wife Cocoa have different ideas of how to raise their children so it leads to some hilarious interactions between the adults and children. side note: The wife is played by Tia Mowry-Hardrict (of Sister, Sister fame). The only downside is there is only one season right now. From what I’ve read, a second season will happen but there’s no date given for it yet.
(still) reading: Little Lady, Big Apple. I am still reading this book due to VBS and revival services at church but I am almost finished!
