It was a pretty good, yet rainy weekend.
Friday
Friday almost always means laundry and relaxing, and will now include more soups 🙂 It’s fall y’all!
Saturday
I did not get a run in this past Saturday because we had a local festival. Our church and the women’s recovery house both had “vendor” spots so we met at the church early, loaded up, headed to the festival location, and set everything up. The festival was nowhere near as full as it should have been. The weather was rainy and chilly, so a lot of people did not show up, but it was still a good day.
After a chilly and rainy festival, it was nice to be back home. I brought home two of the “boo-berry” danishes (I shared with my mom), and they were delicious heated up, with a cup of coffee!
The rest of the afternoon/evening was getting church work done, shower taken, supper eaten, blog posts written, and book read, all before bed!
Sunday
Sunday morning was the usual – great Sunday School, awesome worship, and an amazing Word. After church, we stopped at Lowes and Kroger, picked up lunch at Kroger, and headed home to eat and relax for a little while.
Sunday night, we had a Care Group get-together planned, and this particular night, we were divided into different groups and decided on themes. We had the Seven Dwarfs, the Tailgaters, the Fall group, and the Cowboys (and an Indian). We all brought foods that went along with our themes as well.
After a couple of hours, it was time to head home and mentally prepare for the week ahead!
*linking up with Holly & Sarah for Hello Monday!
