It was a busy weekend!
Friday Night
Nothing out of the ordinary. Just a typical Friday night – laundry, supper, bedtime. Exciting, right?
Saturday
Saturday morning was a local 5K. So, I fed the cats, got dressed, and headed downtown to run with about 200 other runners/walkers. It was a little chilly at times when the wind was blowing, but it was still great weather for a run! It was fun to run with friends, and… I got 3rd in my age group!
After the 5K, my mom and I had planned to get flowers and plant them, so we headed out to Lowes. On the way, we stopped at Starbucks because I had not had breakfast or coffee. I should have taken a picture of my sandwich (Bacon, Gouda & Egg) because it was delicious! After getting fueled and caffeinated, we headed to Lowe’s Garden Center. We bought petunias, begonias, euphorbia, dianthus, bacopa, clematis, and impatiens. It all makes me happy 🙂 We also got mulch but didn’t have time to get that out in the beds.
After flowers were planted, it was time for “chores”, showers, and supper. It was a full day but a good day 🙂
Sunday
Nothing out of the ordinary to report but as always, Sunday School, worship, and Word were all great! And lookie here, I managed to get an OOTD picture LOL.
After church, we stopped by Kroger to pick up a few things for my grandmother, and lunch for us, and then the rest of the day was spent relaxing and getting ready for the week.
