It was another nice weekend!
Friday
Friday afternoon was just a leisurely afternoon. I had been fighting a headache all day, so when it finally let up, I was able to enjoy the rest of the day. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the fresh air was nice. Luna likes to go outside, but she does not go out without the harness and leash. Apparently, she didn’t want just to sit and explore on the deck. She tried to get herself out of the harness. I had a few seconds of panic, but thankfully she didn’t get out of the harness. I scooped her up and put her back inside.

I stayed outside until someone started burning. That was my cue to go back inside. (Wood smoke gives us migraines). Back inside, I did a few chores and then it was time for supper and watching Elementary. After that, I read some and then went to bed.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I got up, fed the cats, put on running clothes, and headed out to run. After 2.5 miles, I was back home and reading my daily verses from Bible Recap.

After this, I ate breakfast and watched Elementary. When that episode was over, we headed outside to get a little bit of yard work done, and to work on finishing clearing the carport off. (There is still some stuff there, but it is for my sister and her boyfriend and we needed to wait until he got back home). Then we moved on to the garage. This is something that needed to be tackled A LONG TIME AGO. Of course, it is one of those situations where you need to get yourself siked up for it LOL. We moved things out, threw away, organized, cleaned, and then moved stuff back in. …and that was only one side. BUT! We can now walk to the back of the garage where the shelves are, without having to climb over stuff. It felt great to get that much done!!
At around 1, it was time for lunch, and we decided this would be the time we were also finished outside. We still had things to do inside as well. We ate lunch, I started laundry, went ahead and got a shower, and then worked on church work for Sunday.
After a little while, it was time for supper. After that, and finishing an episode of Elementary, I went back to finish up the church work that I had started on. With that finished, I read some and went to sleep.
Sunday
Sunday was our Next Steps Sunday. That meant that I needed to get the booklets ready and the classrooms opened. In case you’re wondering, yes, I did have my Starbucks breakfast and coffee first.
Next Step classes and Sunday School went great, worship was…I don’t even have words to describe how great…, and our Pastor’s message was phenomenal.
After church, we had our “Meet the Pastors” lunch for those that have finished the other three Next Step classes, and the rest of the day was spent resting, finishing laundry, and preparing for the week.
Happy Monday!
