It was another nice weekend! Here is a short recap.
Friday
On Friday, after work, we had to go pick up medicine, which is 30 minutes away. Once we got back home, it was time to relax and enjoy being at home.
Saturday
I was up early to feed cats, get dressed, and head out for a 9-mile run. While out, I saw some random chickens, a dog or two, a few cats, and other runners (and some walkers). It was nice. It was cold, but I’d rather that than hot.
With nine miles done, it was time for breakfast, coffee, and Elementary…and kitty-loving. After that, I got to work on laundry and church work, but before that started, we took my sister’s birthday presents to her, because it was her birthday!! The rest of the morning and afternoon was more laundry and church work, and then it was time for showers, supper, and more time to relax.
Sunday
Sunday, we didn’t have any special things going on, but like always, Sunday School and church were great! After church, my mom and I ate a local Sunday buffet (it is the only place to get good Southern cooking on Sundays). It is delicious so I wouldn’t go anywhere else, even if I could!
After lunch, I spent the rest of the day doing a little bit of church work, and then we all relaxed and prepared for the work week ahead.
