It was a laid-back weekend.
Friday
Friday afternoon, we had a few errands to run, and we stopped to pick up supper while we were out. We ate supper and spent the rest of the night relaxing.
Saturday
Saturday, I could finally get a run in without it raining. It’s not every time that I enjoy running (IYKYK), but I enjoyed every minute of my 6.2-mile run (I was training for the St. Jude Half, but also virtually running the St. Jude 10K).
This is what I saw when I got home. Apparently some of the neighborhood cats were having a meeting or something…or were posing for a picture LOL
After a run, it’s almost always time for coffee!
The cats enjoyed the relaxing part too. They were enjoying the sun after a few cloudy and rainy days.
After coffee, we ate breakfast and got busy finishing laundry, finishing small things in the house, and getting church work done. Nothing exciting to note, and no pictures to show, but things were accomplished.
The rest of the afternoon and evening was like most – showers, supper, watching Elementary, reading, and then going to bed.
Sunday
This Sunday was like most – a Starbucks stop, great Sunday School, worship, and Word. Nothing specific to note. It is just always great 🙂
After church, we stopped at Subway to get lunch and headed home to eat and relax a little while before heading to…
…a movie with a small group of our church Ladies. We watched “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”. We laughed and we cried, but we had fun!
After the movie, most of us went to a Mexican restaurant and ate supper together. That was fun as well 🙂 After that, we headed home to get in a little bit of relaxation and mental preparation for the week ahead.
Happy Monday!
