Weekend Update {1.15.24}

It was a pretty low-key weekend, and I enjoyed it!

Friday Night

Laundry – that’s usually what I’m doing on the weekends.

It wasn’t 15 loads, but yeah LOL

I did enjoy just relaxing and watching the last available episode of Shetland (season 9 is in the works though).

Luna was very serious about relaxing

Also, we remembered that we had not gone around the house and made sure the vents were closed…so, we head out, at night, with a cold wind blowing, to check the vents. We got them closed, and headed back inside, half frozen. By then, it was time to head to bed to read.

Saturday

I had set my alarm to get up and go run, but when the alarm went off, the bed was too warm and I fell back asleep LOL. I wasn’t even upset about it though! When I got up, I enjoyed a cup of coffee while catching up on my Bible Recap reading.

After that, it was time for breakfast and relaxing, while watching Reacher.

When I finished breakfast, I got to work on church work. I had a few things to type up and print out, so it didn’t take too long.

When I got finished with church work, I started working on cleaning out my closet. This is something I have been trying to work on for months. Due to lack of time, and sometimes lack of motivation, it was taking me a while. But I was determined that Saturday was the day I got most of it done. I do wish I had taken a before and after picture. It feels so good to have a big majority of it gone, and to see the space I have now in my closet.

With that done, it was time for a shower, supper, relaxing, and reading before bedtime.

Sunday

Sunday morning was like most (Starbucks, Sunday School, church) but this was our Next Steps Sunday so we had that from 9:30-10:30 (while Sunday School classes were also in session). This was followed by awesome praise and worship and a great message from our Pastor.

After church, I had the “Lunch with the Pastors” to attend. Before we left the lunch, it started snowing but wasn’t much to worry about. We did know that LOTS more was on the way so we didn’t linger and talk long.

I did make it home without any issues. The rest of the night was spent eating supper, watching Reacher, and watching it snow and snow and snow (this is very unusual for MS so I’m like a kid when it snows!)

Then it was time for bed and reading!
