It was a snowy and cozy weekend!
Friday
It snowed!!! We were working from home that day so it didn’t affect that. But after work, we spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the fireplace.
We were supposed to have a revival service but due to the icy roads, it was cancelled. So,
Saturday
Satuday morning, I did have my alarm set to get up and run, but when it went off, I knew that what little had melted the day before had refroze and the part of town I run in is shaded, so I chose to not risk slipping and falling. I turned back over, covered back up, and went back to sleep for a little while longer. When I woke up to start the day, after making my bed, I made a cup of apple cider, sat down with The Bible Recap, and a blanket. What better way to start a day? 🙂
The rest of the day was filled with breakfast, laundry, relaxing, making and eating snow cream, church work, blog work, supper, and more relaxing. We were also supposed to have a revival service like Friday night, but for the same reason, it was cancelled.
Sunday
The decision was made to not have church at the normal time, and to move it to 1 pm, to allow more time for the roads to clear. That meant that we didn’t have Sunday School. The guy that was scheduled for the revival services did still come Sunday and we enjoyed that! As always, the worship was awesome, and the message was on point!
After church, my mom, my friend and her brother went to eat at a local steak and fish restaurant. It is in the opposite direction (from the church) from we all live so, since the timing of church worked out, we decided to eat there Sunday. It was delicious as always! After that, we headed home to relax and prepare for the week.
Happy Monday!
