It is the second Monday of the month, so it is time to share our lives. This month, the prompt is our tips for falling asleep. I don’t have much of a problem falling asleep, but these are the things I do at night. Maybe it is the reason I don’t have a problem falling asleep.

Turn out the overhead lights. I do have a lamp on my nightstand that gives enough light to read. I feel like having lower light helps me relax and get sleepy.
Relax my body and mind. If I get things on my mind, I will pray, and before long, what was on my mind has left.
Have a purring cat, or three, sleeping on your bed. That always helps (as long as they aren’t up playing instead LOL). I’m sure a sleeping dog helps too 🙂
Read until you get sleepy. Works for me most every time I sit down to read! HAHA

I would love to have a purring cat or cuddly dog. I remember growing up having our cat always in my bed. Unfortunately my other half is allergic. Thanks for linking up
Yes, having a cat or two sleeping on the bed does help me relax! Our kitty doesn’t usually stay in our room during the night though – she probably can’t sleep with me there! LOL I’m a couple days behind, but here from SOL
I like having a nice low light on too; that darkness definitely makes me more sleepy.
Ohh! I love the idea of having a purring cat or three sleeping on my bed. I am sure that would help me fall asleep easily. Great tips!
