Sometimes it is good to stop and think about what we are thankful for. Life gets hectic and sometimes it seems like everything is falling apart. But there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for, no matter how small. So, here is what I am thankful for today, but we’ll call it the “car edition”.
I am thankful that my vehicle did not die at all but also did not die while I was far from home. I was almost home when the battery light came on and it went straight to the auto parts place for them to check the battery. It was time for a new battery so I went ahead and had it replaced. That did not fix the problem, and it was determined that it was probably the alternator. (UPDATE: It was the alternator.)
I am thankful to have an excellent mechanic who knows his work and doesn’t rip people off. We have used this guy for YEARS.
I am thankful for a great job with great pay that makes it less stressful when situations like this arise.
