Sometimes it is good to stop and think about what we are thankful for. Life gets hectic and sometimes it seems like everything is falling apart. But there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for, no matter how small. So, here is what I am thankful for today.
I am thankful that I have the opportunity, and means, to work from home. It saves on gas and vehicle wear and tear and saves over an hour a day of driving. That means we have more time to get things done (see below) and get into bed at a decent time.
I am thankful to have a job that I like. Actually, I have two jobs I love. One is full-time, outside of the church. I am an engineer at a manufacturing facility. The other is church administrator. Sometimes, it feels like a full-time job, but I’m okay with it 🙂
I am thankful that my grandmother lives close enough (across the street) that we can easily check on her. She is 85, and has recently found out she has severe coronary artery disease. She needs our help more than she used to, so with her living so close, we can quickly get over there when she needs us to help do or get something.
Lastly, I am thankful to have a planner to help keep me straight (or at least attempt to). I have a lot going on most of the time, so sometimes I need to know where I’m going, when, and what I’m doing HA!
