Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. Spring has officially sprung (in the northern hemisphere anyway)…did she roll in more like a lion or more like a lamb in your neck of the woods? What needs more of your attention, in terms of a good spring clean this year- your house or your garden/yard?
I would say it came in like a lamb. On the first day, it was cooler than I thought it would be for spring, but it was still a nice day. In the days following, it felt more like spring temperatures π I think both the yard and house need an equal amount of my attention. It’s not the whole house and not the whole yard. Just parts of it need attention.
2. What’s put a spring in your step lately?
Spring-like temperatures, having the windows open, daffodils, and watching the progression (and near completion) of our renovated/extended church sanctuary.
3. When you were a kid, what was the best snack to find in your lunchbox? If you didn’t do the lunchbox thing, tell us what your favorite after-school snack was.
I honestly don’t even remember my after-school snacks.
4. In what area of your life are you planting seeds?
I hope I am sowing seeds everywhere I go – showing compassion, loving like Christ, etc. I try to be encouraging, sowing seeds of love and hope.

5. Why do you live where you do? Would you consider living somewhere else? Why or why not?
Well, honestly I live where I do for more than one reason – first, it is closer to where my mom (and now, I) works. She used to drive almost an hour and now it is 35 minutes. Second, The neighbors be less than ideal (that is putting it mildly) to live next to. Moving was mostly, if not almost completely, to be closer to work. I might consider living somewhere else, but I love where I live. It is a historic town, and I love the feeling and character that brings, so if I were to move, I would want it to bring the same. Then again, if it is the Lord’s will that I move, I know He will help me love any new place π
6. Insert your own random thought here.
I am ready for a fresh home-grown tomato sandwich, and some home-grown cucumbers (so that I can make thisπ)
