Once Upon a Hodgepodge [2.26.25]

Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. February 26th is National Tell A Fairy Tale Day…have you read a fairy tale lately? What’s your favorite fairy tale? Do you believe in ‘happily ever after’?

I haven’t read a fairy tale lately. I honestly love most fairytales, especially the Disney ones 🙂 I do believe in “happily ever after”. I haven’t completely given up on it LOL.

2.  Complete one of the following sentences with a thought relating to your life currently:

In a place far far away__________

Once upon a time, more people had common sense.

A long time ago________________

3. Which of the following ‘fairy tale foods’ is your favorite? Which have you made/eaten most recently?

porridge/oatmeal (Goldilocks and The Three Bears), an apple (Snow White), a gingerbread cookie (The Gingerbread Man), pumpkin soup/pie/bread (Cinderella), peas (The Princess and the Pea), beans (Jack and The Beanstalk) or a cup of tea (Alice in Wonderland)

I can’t choose just one! Porridge (especially what I had in London), a gingerbread cookie, and definitely a cup of tea!

4. What’s your idea of fun?

I have a few: traveling, reading, ziplining, etc.

5.  Next week’s Hodgepodge lands in March. Is that right? I guess so.  Give us one noun, one verb, and one adjective that tells us something about your February. To make you think a little harder, you cannot use the words cold or snowy.

Productive, rest (as a noun), running.

6. Insert your own random thought here.

I’m already working on packing lists …for trips in August and November LOL But one of them will be a carry-on trip so I want to make sure I can get everything for 10 days in the carry-on and still have plenty of room – you know, for souvenirs;)
