One day, Jerry Holl decided that he was finished with a lifetime of corporate
positions and set out to make a solo bike ride from Alaska to Mexico. The trip itself
is hard enough but throw in bad weather, (sometimes) dangerous roads,
unpredictable grizzly bears, and a lack of bicycle maintenance know-how, and
you have the perfect plot for a book:) If you like traveling, or if you just like reading
about people that do things that most others cannot do, this is the book. Jerry
writes this in such a great way; he tells what each day brings and throws in his
thoughts. It is like we are seeing what happens inside his head, while things are
going on outside/around him.
