Let’s Look: How I Reset for the Week on Sundays

Today I am going to look at how I reset for the week on Sundays. This routine is pretty consistent but, like with most things, it does change up some weeks.

#1: Go to Church. I need Jesus to help me deal with work (most days – if you know, you know) so what better way to start resetting than to be in the Lord’s house on Sunday morning? 🙂

#2: Plan ahead. I look at my planner, to see what all I have going on during the week. Sometimes it is just work, gym, and church, and then other times, it is those 3, plus appointments and “extra” church nights.

#3: Look at the weather for each day. This is usually pretty accurate but it does sometimes change from day to day. This helps me…

#4: Decide what to wear each day of the week. I know this may sound a little crazy, but on the days that I am going in-office to work, I get up at 4 am. That is too early to be trying to figure out what to wear that day.

#5: Get whatever work may be left to be done for the week. This usually means something I may need for church on Wednesday night.

#6: Relax. This is usually “me time” and consists of loving on cats, watching TV, spending time with my mom, and sometimes sister, and then reading.

#7: (Try to) Mentally prepare for the week before falling asleep.
