It was a semi-chill, semi-busy weekend! That will make more sense in a little bit HA!
Friday Night
Laundry, relaxing and getting ready for the rest of the weekend. I laid my running gear out before bed, so I had nothing to slow me down! 🙂
Saturday
Up early to run, fed the cats, and headed out! Since the weather was cooler, and less humidity was forecasted, I had planned to run 6 miles, but in the back of my head, I thought 10 miles might also be possible. When I started out, it was very humid still, but the temperature was definitely much cooler than it had been.
Somewhere in those ten miles, I managed to get a blister on the back of my foot too. It wasn’t a new shoe because I have been wearing those. Either way, it wasn’t too bad and I made it home, and felt a serious feeling of accomplishment HA! The rest of the day was finishing laundry, working on church work and other work, and just relaxing.
Sunday
Sunday morning was the usual…Starbucks, great church, followed by a stop at Kroger for lunch. We came home, ate lunch, relaxed and watched some “Jack Ryan”.
This past Sunday, we had a gospel singing, where another church came and “merged” their congregation with ours for the night. I’m not a fan of southern gospel but it wasn’t bad. I might have even enjoyed myself a little bit. Now, remember the blister from Saturday? Well, at some point during church Sunday morning, the bandaid I had came off and the one at church wasn’t big enough, so the blister kept getting worse from my shoes (again, not a problem from the shoes. I wear them all the time). Well, just know when you see the OOTD picture, I had put my shoes back on just for the picture HAHA (and this picture was taken at the very end of the day so overlook how my face and hair look)
..and there you have it! A chill weekend until Sunday rolled around, which had two services. I was tired, but it was good!
