Hello Monday / Weekend Update {1.16.23}

It was a pretty routine weekend except that I usually don’t have surprise birthday parties to attend HA!

Friday Night

short and sweet…laundry & relaxing. This time, we started “Deadline”, again on BritBox. There were only 4 episodes but it is so good! The description: Natalie Varga is accused of murdering her husband and a disgraced investigative journalist becomes obsessed with the case. It may not sound interesting to some but just take my word for it, you will not be disappointed. I was surprised by some twist on nearly every episode!

Saturday

Up early for a 6-mile run! Not that it is always easy to get out the door, I do love having this time outside, even in the winter:)

After my run, it was time for coffee and breakfast. Of course, there is always relaxing and TV watching. We continued on with “Deadline”.

Church work needed to be done so we started that once the eipsode of “Deadline” was finished. Laundry was also finished during this time. I worked for about 3 or 4 hours and then it was time for afternoon feed for the furbabies, shower, and supper. (We finished “Deadline”). I finished a few final church things and went to bed (which means I read first).

Sunday

Sunday mornings are always busy and early (considering church doesn’t start until 10). Up at 6am, get dressed, stop at Starbucks on the way to church for coffee & breakfast.I got the stations set up for our Children’s/Sunday School check-ins, and then I sat down to eat my breakfast. Thankfully I had poured my coffee into a thermos so it wasn’t cold. After I finish my breakfast, I make whatever copies need to be made (service order, etc.). Once classes were over, the rest of the time at church was pretty much the same. I run around like a chicken with its head cut off. I worship, then get the guest information, get the attendance count, etc. After church, we went to eat at a local “southern-cooking” restaurant to get to-go orders and then it was home for about a few hours, before I left for a surprise birthday party of a friend. After that, I was finally back home for the night!
