I’m playing catch up but… I still wanted to document the books I read this year and my thoughts on each.

school“. This book is about Jane, who is an orphan, forced to living with her aunt and cousins
after her father’s death. She is physically and mentally/verbally abused by her aunt and cousins.
Eventually, she moves to a boarding school and her treatment there wasn’t much better.
Thankfully, the abuses were found out and changes were made. She was able to become a
teacher in the school and was soon invited to be a governess at the home of Mr. Rochester. She
finds herself falling in love with him but in typical storyline fashion, it’s not always that simple.
Why I never this, I have no idea!, but I’m glad I have now. It is a great classic.
