Happy Wednesday, friends! Let’s do this!! It’s time for Joyce‘s Wednesday Hodgepodge linkup! Here are this week’s questions with my answers in italics.

1. Did you watch the Super Bowl? Did your team win? What’s your favorite game day snack for whatever sport is happening?
I did watch the Super Bowl. I was rooting for the Eagles, and they won. I’m not really into either team, but as with most Super Bowls, I will pick one of the two just for the fun of it. I have been “right” for the last two years. π I don’t know if I have a favorite game-day snack. I eat most snacks, though I usually gravitate toward chips and dips.
2. What’s your ‘superpower’?
I can spot a groundhog off the side of the road while driving. I know that sounds dangerous LOL. I am very observant though (which is also a bad thing because I also notice the other drivers too much too…and they make me nervous).
3. Will you do anything special on Valentine’s Day? If so do share. Any thoughts on/about this particular holiday? Share a favorite verse or quote relating to love.
No. I will probably be at home, and I am fine with that. …unless a certain someone wants to take me out to eat, then I would go π
I am not a fan of Valentine’s Day though. Prices are jacked up, and people pay them for that day, instead of just randomly buying their loves things throughout the year. I don’t mean that everyone does this. I just know a lot that do.
Two of my favorite love verses are: 1 Corinthians 16:14 – “Let all that you do be done in love.” & John 3:16 – βFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.“
4. Are you a fan of the rom-com genre? If so what’s one of your favorites? If you’re not a movie go-er then what about a book you love that features a great love story? How about a favorite love song?
I am a fan of rom-com. Two of my many favorites are “Maid in Manhattan” & “Sweet Home Alabama”. That are just the first two I thought of. There are so many that I like. A favorite rom-com in book form…there are WAY TOO MANY to name! Same with songs…most I just want to belt out and sing!
5. Let’s get creative…write an acrostic using the word L-O-V-E.
I have tried and tried to come up with an acrostic but my brain is fried so I’ve got nothing for this.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
We are currently narrowing down our “big” vacation destination. We have four to choose from, and we are looking at ALL of the factors (price, tickets, dates, etc.) Stay tuned to see where we choose to go π

I will be curious to see where you are headed. I would love a tropical beach getaway right about now, but not sure it’s going to happen in the next month. Once spring truly arrives here we have the lake and then I don’t particularly want to travel. But March? Yes, please. Hope you have a great weekend!
Being super observant is a great superpower, and I think it’s better to be hyper aware of potential hazards while driving than to not see that groundhog until it’s too late. Hope you had a good Valentine’s Day, whether at home or if that someone took you out for dinner. π
