This week’s topic is: books to read during a storm. This could be cozy reads, books with storms in them, atmospheric reads for dark and stormy nights, light reads to combat the heavy weather, etc. I like snow (but maybe not storms) so I chose to look at books set in snowstorms, at least for some portion of the story. When I started researching, I liked the “winter color” vibe, so I took it one step further and chose 10 books, set in a snowstorm, with a winter color cover.
1. Terrible Storm – Carol Otis Hurst
2. Trapped – Michael Northrop
3. Cold Cold Bones – Kathy Reichs
4. One by One – Ruth Ware
5. Dead Mountain – Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
6. Rock Paper Scissors – Alice Feeney
7. Dead of Winter – Darcy Coates
8. Five Total Strangers – Natalie D. Richards
9. Into the Storm – Melanie Moreland
10. Shiver – Allie Reynolds

Great list! These books look perfect for a stormy day. I haven’t read any of them before, but Cold Cold Bones looks amazing 🙂
