It’s time to look at the book I read in March!
Lead Like It Matters by Craig Groeschel
★★★★.75
This book was a follow-up to It: How Churches and Leaders Can Get It and Keep It. Both were really good, but Lead Like It Matters seemed to speak to right where we are as a church. There are a lot of things that we are doing “right”, some things that could use some improvement, and some things that need to change. Some of the key points that are covered (borrowed from Craig’s website):
• “Recognize when your organization or ministry has the indefinable but tangible “it” that leads to success
• Identify and implement seven leadership principles for a church that lasts
• Ignite a fire in your team to leave behind “what we’ve always done” for the meaningful ministry you know is possible
• Discover the three areas every leader must master for success.”
This book (well, both of them) will benefit any ministry or church, as a whole, that wants to improve. There’s always room for improvement!
