It was a productive weekend! Friday night and Sunday were pretty much the same as most weekends but on Saturday, things got done!
Friday Night
nothing new – laundry, kitty cuddling, supper, True Detectives, read, sleep
Saturday
I was up early, fed the cats, “suited up”, and headed out for a cold run. It was 29 degrees, with a feel-like temp of 20 degrees. It was a good run, and the daffodils are starting to bloom so that made it better! 🙂
Back from running, it was time for coffee and Bible Recap. This was followed by breakfast and True Detective.
So, for a background story, we wanted to hide the neighbor’s junk (the left side of the first picture doesn’t even show a small portion of it) so, after lots of research, we buried a plastic border and then planted bamboo. The plastic was supposed to keep the bamboo from spreading in areas outside of the border….but, that doesn’t work so now we are working to get rid of it. Saturday was the day we started that. So, we chopped it down. We will continually spray it with weed killer until it no longer grows. Just having it cut down looks better if you can ignore the junk :\.
With the yard cleaned up, for now, it was time to go inside, feed the cats, and get showers. Following this, we visited with my grandmother, ate supper, watched True Detectives, and went to bed. I was exhausted!!!
Sunday
Sunday was the same as usual so I won’t bore you with details…Starbucks, church, lunch, home 🙂
*linking up with Holly & Sarah for Hello Monday!
