Today (2 days late), I am linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverythingBlog to look at … my Phone, Apps, & Such.
These are my most used “pages”: my home page and the first one when you swipe left (or the next page to the right of the home screen).
Some of these are my most used apps (more on that below) and some need to be removed.
These are the apps I use the most:
Organization
LastPass: if you are like me, and probably everyone else in the world, you have a million different passwords. This app is AWESOME! You can keep your usernames and passwords and organize them (church, work, home, health, etc.). It also generates passwords for you, and then automatically asks if you want to save it, which you can then organize how you want. Just try it! It has been a lifesaver!
To Do: (from Microsoft) this is exactly what it sounds like…a to-do list app. You can categorize
Out of Milk: this is an app to organize your grocery list. I love it! There are categories already in the app but you can create your own or edit what already exists. If color coding makes you happy, you can change the color of each category 🙂
Fitness
Planet Fitness: I have to use this every time I go into Planet Fitness. With my membership QR code/tag, it has my access to the gym. While I haven’t used them yet, there are also workouts on it that I can access (even at home), if I ever need them.
Garmin Connect: I use this mostly after I run, to see what my pace was, or, while I run, to see the distance (or what I have left). It basically holds all information…steps, heart rate, calories (resting & active), and…I could keep going.
Everyday Life
Bible: this is self-explanatory. It’s my Bible app. I have the Bible at my fingertips, everywhere I go.
Messages: no other explanation other than I get text messages and I need to check them LOL (this is probably my most used app of all of them)
Clock: this is where the alarm clock is, which wakes me up every morning (that, and coffee). It also has a timer, which I do use sometimes at the gym.
Pandora: I listen to music while I run, and while I’m at work. So, in other words, this app is very essential.
Social Media
Instagram: my favorite social media app. I can keep up with those I follow-friends, non-friends (but yet still interesting to me), celebrities, etc., through pictures, videos, and stories, with much less drama than…
Facebook: honestly, this has been a thorn in my side lately but I have so many groups and pages (church & blog) that are on here so I stick around. It is good to be able to keep up with family and friends that live far away (who don’t have IG), but I have to weed through the drama so some days, it’s not worth it.
Time Wasting
Manor Matters: basically, a hidden picture search game that earns coins and points, that are then used to renovate an old manor. It’s not much but I love it.
Merge Mansion: simply put, this is matching (merging) two items together to make another. As the items get further along, they can then be used to renovate the mansion and grounds.
Word in Bloom: the simple description? You’re given jumbled letters & you make words. You earn points, coins, and butterflies. Bonus: sometimes you learn words that you didn’t know were words (yes, I have looked them up at times too)
TikTok: this really needs no explanation but it is DIY videos (sometimes with the help of music and audio). Some are stupid, some are informative, and most are funny. I hate to admit it but sometimes (more times than not) it is a major time sucker.
Snapchat: videos and pictures with words and filters…and they disappear after a certain length of time. I do use it to keep up with family and friends.
WOW! Looking at this list, I see I use my phone too much! HA! I already knew that
I figure most of you already know what these apps are but maybe you saw something that can help you. For me, I get excited when I find a new app, especially for organization!
