Today I was going to look at my biggest fears, irrational and not, but 2 Timothy 1:7 shows “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind“. I do have a fear that I fight daily (which makes it a phobia) but I will not be discussing that. I don’t want to give it any power over me. I will continue to fight it.
However, to still join in this linkup, I will be discussing a few things I am not a fan of (I wouldn’t call them fears, because they don’t have any control).
Not a fan of…
(1) Spiders
Nope. I’m out! I can kill one, but I will have to have a brief talk with the Lord about it HA! (not really but I do have to mentally prepare, in case it decides to jump or run at me)
(2) Ladders
I can and will climb a ladder, but if it is against a building (you know – the ones you lean against the house and are taller) or in the middle of the floor… Imma be shaking a little. If I’m close to a wall, I feel safer. I guess I think I can dig my fingernails into the wall if the ladder falls.
