I found this linkup a few weeks ago and loved it! Plus, I don’t have enough running-themed posts. Apparently, this is the blister edition HA!
I runfess… that I ran 10 miles last Saturday morning. Thank the Lord, it was a much cooler morning (and after a little while, less humid) so I was able to get in 10 miles. It has been a while since I’ve run that far but it felt good to be back out there for that length of time and that amount of mileage.
I gymfess… that I worked in a strength/weight routine the last time I was at the gym. I got in both the strength workout and a treadmill run and it felt good!
I runfess… that I got a blister during the 10-mile run mentioned above π€·πΌββοΈ It wasn’t bad until the bandaid came off at church the next morning. I’m pretty sure it was almost infected but thankfully it is much better now. I won’t be able to get a run in this Saturday due to a church event but that will just give the blister more time to heal.

A cooler and less humid morning sounds like heaven. It’s been a while since I’ve run 10 miles as well. Bummer about the blister though!!! I’m glad it’s healing up.
It was heaven!
Ouch on the blister! I’ve really only ever had one from running so far, but that one was a doozy & the only toenail I’ve lost so far.
It’s been a year since I’ve run 10 miles & I’m okay with that! Short & sweet. π
I haven’t lost a toenail but I know it is possible as long as I’m still running HA!
A longer, cooler run sound amazing. Have to take those days when they come. Ouch on the blister! Those are as bad as chafing π
yes! Absolutely!
I hope when I’m ready for 10 miles it’s cooler and less humid than it is now! So sorry about the blister! OUCH!!
I hope it is too! It is much more enjoyable when it is cooler.
Oh, boo on the blister! That’s no fun! Blisters are not a regular thing for me, so I get extra indignant when they pop up.
They’re not a regular thing for me either, and I hope it stays that way!
Congrats on the 10 miler but yikes on the blister. Those are no fun at all. Hope it’s healing up well!
Thank you!
