Happy Memorial Day weekend! Before I get started, I want to take a moment to honor and remember those we’ve lost. That is what Memorial Day is all about after all!

It’s the last Saturday of the month so it’s time for another “bonus” post. More cooler days than usual (for May in the South anyway). It meant more days outside, eating lunch and reading on the deck and porch, and running downtown before I move to the gym

How Y’all Doing by Leslie Jordan. Sadly, I’ve only been able to get one book read this month. I did start another one but just could not get into it, so I put it down and moved on.
|LEARNED|
Rest is a good thing! LOL. I have been so busy (most of it is my fault) but plans unexpectedly changed last Saturday so I had nothing planned so I slept in…and it was GLORIOUS!

I ate well this month! HA!

Yes, rest is a very good thing! Being busy and forgetting to rest is very relatable. And of course, the best kind is the changed plans/unexpected kind of rest.
