10 Things About Me

This week’s topic is a non-book freebie, which could have included hobbies, TV/movies, bands/singers, food/recipes, etc. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I thought about all of the things above, then ten favorite places I’ve visited, or ten places I want to visit, but I decided to list ten things about me.

1. I love cats.

I know that if you’ve been reading for any length of time, you have figured this out. It’s not that I don’t like dogs. I live in the city and it would not be safe, and we aren’t home enough to be let it out of the house as much as it needs/deserves.

2. I like to plan ahead.

I know it is a personality thing but I can’t stand not being able to plan ahead. It stresses me. I will pack ahead of time…and I do have a list that I have to check off.

3. My mom is my best friend.

I do not take this for granted.

4. I am my church’s administrative assistant.

I love it (hello numbers 2 and 5). It does get a little hectic and slightly stressful at times, but it is something that I really love.

5. I like to be organized.

This goes along with planning ahead but I can’t stand a chaotic mess of clothes, papers, etc. I may have a mess of something, but it will be an organized mess. I know exactly where everything is. It doesn’t take long for the organized mess to disappear though. I can’t handle it for too long. HA!

6. My MTBI personality type is ISFJ.

This explains a lot about the ISFJ personality. ISFJs are defenders. In other words, don’t mess with my family and friends LOL

7. I love to travel.

If you have been reading for any time at all, this is probably pretty obvious.

8. I don’t eat chicken on the bone.

I know this is crazy but it is what it is. As a child, I used to eat chicken legs, but somewhere along the way, a switch flipped and I cannot eat chicken on the bone. I can eat chicken strips, and I can eat chicken tat has been pulled off of the bone, but if it is touching the bone…nope!

9. I actually like trail running.

Don’t get me wrong – I like road running too, but there’s something about being in nature that makes it so much better (except for the spiders, snakes, and bugs) – mostly when the conditions are just right 😉

10. I have a Math degree.

Additionally, I am an engineer.
