It is hard to believe that 2023 is here! I only read 12 books but these are the ten favorites out of those twelve:
1. Nowhere Near First: Ultramarathon Adventures from the Back of the Pack – Cory Reese
2. The Guide – Peter Heller
3. The Thursday Murder Club – Richard Osman
4. Good Apple – Elizabeth Passarella
5. A Runner’s High: My Life in Motion – Dean Karnazes
6. The Boardwalk Bookshop – Susan Mallery
7. Belong to Me – Marisa De Los Santos
8. Then She Was Gone – Lisa Jewell
9. A Gentleman in Moscow – Amor Towles
10. Why I Believe in Santa Claus – Maury Davis

Looks like you read some great books this year.
I did! I hope it is harder to pick a top ten next year HA!
The Thursday Murder Club has popped up on a few different lists this week. Glad you liked it so much!

yes! I see that there is a sequel out and then another coming out this year so I’m excited to read them both!
These books all look interesting — especially your top choice. As a runner who will never be the first across the finish line, I find that one intriguing.
I am in the same boat. I will never be first (unless everyone else stays home). It is definitely worth the read:)
THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB is a fun one! I need to read the sequels now. Glad you loved all these!
Happy TTT!

I’ve not read any of these, but The Thursday Murder Club is on my TBR so I’m glad to see you enjoyed it.

It is great! Very well-written. So much so that I can’t wait to read his second in the series, and then the 3rd when it comes out this year.
That ultramarathon book looks fun. I run a lot, but I’d probably die on an ultramarathon.
Yeah I probably would too, but I do still like to read about those who don’t HA!
