If you are looking for something to watch on Netflix, here’s some of my favorites we found last year!
[Family Reunion]
Family Reunion shows the McKellan family, who moves from Seattle to Georgia to be
closer to extended family. As you can imagine, the transition from city life in Seattle to
small-town Georgia provides us with many laughs. It shows life problems but not to the
point that the viewer gets sick of it. With three-hour church services, high-humidity hair,
M’Dear’s home cooking, and family bonding, Family Reunion gives us a good family
friendly sitcom. Good news: it has been renewed for a second season!
[Murder Mystery]
A New York cop, played by Adam Sandler and his hairdresser wife, played by Jennifer
Aniston, go on a European vacation, on a billionaire’s yacht, to reinvigorate the spark in
their marriage. A chance encounter leads to them being framed for the murder of the
elderly billionaire. Hilarity ensues as Sandler and Aniston work to solve the murder.
[Holiday in the Wild]
Holiday in the Wild stars Kristin Davis and Rob Lowe. Kate, played by Davis, is set to
embark on a second honeymoon with her husband when he decides to leave her the
night before. Kate decides to take the trip alone. While vacationing in Africa, she ends
up helping rescue a baby elephant who had been orphaned. Kate, a vet, helps at an
elephant sanctuary. While there, she falls in love with Derek, played by Lowe, who is a
conservationist and pilot. This has some romance and animals and is an all-around
feel-good movie.
[The Kominsky Method]
Linked up with Andrea, Narci, and Erika for Friday Favorites. Have a great weekend!
Comments
We really enjoyed the Kominsky method too. I'll have to check out Family Reunion; that sounds like a show I'd like.
