Anne, at In Residence, hosts a linkup on the first Wednesday of every month and invites readers to share a few things they’re up to currently. Be sure to head over to Anne’s blog and see what everyone is up to this month.
COOKING
in the microwave…or not at all. I was sick for about a week and a half so if it took much thought or work, it didn’t happen
PHOTOGRAPHING
my grandmother’s cat, the neighborhood cats, and mushrooms (on my post-quarantine walk)
SHARING
blog posts and our church’s live stream…and maybe a funny meme here and there (but the meme sharing will probably stop for a while because most of what I’m seeing on FB right now is really “exhausting” so I’m not even going there for a while…)
TRYING
to stay positive that the trip to Austria will happen, even if it is later than we had originally planned (I’m still hoping for a miracle but I don’t blame them for not letting Americans in right now)
WONDERING
when people will stop fighting and love one another…

I try not to spend too much time on Facebook. It can definitely be overwhelming and negative. I hope your trip works out – at some point! I understand not wanting Americans to go to certain countries as well; we aren't exactly taking extreme precautions as a nation. It's just sad.

I have been avoiding social media as much as I can right now. It upsets me so much. Stay positive, stay safe!
I'm trying to stay positive about travel as well! Fingers crossed……
Such a bummer about cancelled and postponed travel plans – it's so hard when these things are totally out of our control. Hope you are feeling better!
I am feeling better. Thank you!
Yeah, I have checked in on Facebook every once in a while but then I usually regret it after a few minutes…so I'm trying to just not look lol. I "admin" several pages so I can't completely stay off but I can log out so it makes it harder to get on and aimlessly scroll. That gives me more time for reading and other things so really, it is a win-win!
Thank you! You stay positive and safe as well! We will all get through this!
Yes! Let's stay positive. But who knows? If we don't get to take our trips this time, maybe when we do, it'll be even better than if we had taken them now.
