Today I am going to look at my low-level goals for 2025. I believe these are easily obtainable 🙂
#1: READ TWO BOOKS A MONTH.
Sometimes I struggle to have the time to read but if I work on some of my distractions, that would help 🙂 …which leads me to….
#2: STOP LOOKING AT MY PHONE AT NIGHT.
This is a problem. I know it is. I need to make sure the alarm is set, and then put it down and not pick it up again until morning. It is a habit that I have to break.
#3: RUN, OR WALK, AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK.
Most weeks, I can make this happen. I know the schedule on some weeks might not allow it, but if I put forth the effort to plan around that, I think I can make it happen.
#4: GET (MOST) BLOGS TYPED UP AND READY TO POST BEFORE IT IS TIME.
I know the topics ahead of time for most posts, so I need to make a point to sit down, plan them out, and then get them typed up and scheduled.
#5: SAY “NO” SOMETIMES.
I tend to want to do too much, especially with church stuff and church people. I need to remember that I can’t do everything, and I don’t have to do everything.
#6: DELEGATE.
My pastor tells me this all the time (I’m the church administrator) but I need to do it more than I do.
#7: GET THE MONTH PLANNED OUT IN MY PLANNER BEFORE THE MONTH STARTS.
Like with the blog posts – I know most of my schedule, church events, appointments, blog posts, etc. ahead of time so I need to sit down on a certain day and get it all done. It makes me happier to have the month ready to go, before the month begins 🙂
Happy Wednesday!
