This week’s topic is a throwback freebie. I looked back through Jana’s list of 700+ posts and had trouble narrowing them down. But ultimately, I choose to do the top ten books that take place in another country. However, since I will be going to London and Scotland in (the end of) August and September, I decided to list five set in London (England) and five set in Scotland.
England
1. The Rose Code – Kate Quinn
2. Little Beach Street Bakery – Jenny Colgan
3. The English Bookshop – Janis Wildy
4. The Queen’s Secret: A Novel of England’s World War II Queen – Karen Harper
5. The Silver Ladies of Penny Lane – Dee MacDonald
Scotland
6. The Highland Fling – Meghan Quinn
7. The Bookseller of Inverness – S.G. MacLean
8. Fateful Words – Paige Shelton
9. Edinburgh Twilight – Carole Lawrence
10. And the Land Lay Still – James Robertson

England is such a popular setting.
I hope you enjoy London and Scotland! I’d love to visit both of those places someday.
